Pokémon TCG Pocket launches Dual Fusion expansion with Mega Mewtwo X ex
DeNA rolled out the Dual Fusion pack on October 29, 2026, adding Dual Type cards, six rental decks and a new deck-building feature set.
DeNA released the Dual Fusion expansion pack for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket on October 29, 2026, according to gamebiz.jp. The pack introduces Dual Type cards, among them Mega Mewtwo X ex.
Dual Fusion also adds cards including Mega Greninja ex, Mega Dragonite ex, Pikachu ex, Fuecoco ex and Mew ex. DeNA said a new special pack called Beginning Partners is on the way, featuring partner Pokémon from nine regions of the Pokémon series.
Six rental decks tied to the expansion are available from October 29, 2026 at 10:00 until December 16, 2026 at 9:59. An Elite Deck containing Mega Rayquaza ex, Dragonair and Gouging Fire is being distributed through the gift box.
App updates and collection items
The update adds a Someone's Deck function, battle rule settings for private matches and a higher cap of 30 saved decks. A Mega Greninja collection file and collection board launch on November 1, 2026.
The app is developed with The Pokémon Company and Creatures. Earlier in October 2026, a Pika Pika! Pikachu Mission event began on October 20 at 22:00 to mark the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon Card Game, whose 30th CELEBRATION expansion featured a Futuristic Rare Pikachu ex illustration by YOSHIROTTEN.
