Polyscape and LivAI Partner to Build AI Agents for Game QA

The two firms will split design, deployment and governance work on agents that test games and check legal compliance.

Polyscape and LivAI announced on October 19, 2026 a partnership to design and deploy AI agents for game development, covering quality assurance, balance adjustment, intellectual property supervision and legal checks, according to 4gamer.net.

Under the arrangement, Polyscape will design and develop the AI agents and handle their implementation and operation within development workflows and systems. LivAI will take charge of AI consulting, staff training, governance design and support for adoption on site.

The agents are intended to play games, collect logs and data, and compare settings against master data as part of QA and balance work. They are also meant to check compliance with Japan's premium representation law, the Payment Services Act and platform rules.

The two companies said the goal is to let creators concentrate on planning, expression and decision-making.

Earlier QA work

Polyscape has released titles including MISTROGUE and NAMAKORIUM and offers the AI automated game QA solution PolyQA. The company says PolyQA has cut game QA work hours by 75 percent and reduced planning costs to one-hundredth, and that its AI IP supervision reproduces 80 percent of the accuracy of human reviewers. A CESA survey in 2026 found that 85.8 percent of game developers use generative AI in their work.
