Pooper Scooper, a cat-poop cleaning sim, headed to Steam in Q4 2026
Zemore Indie Games' simulation tasks players with scooping physics-driven cat poop while cats wobble, fly and spin around the room.
Zemore Indie Games announced Pooper Scooper on October 20, a simulation game about cleaning up cat poop. The game is planned for release on PC via Steam in Q4 2026.
The poop uses physics simulation and varies in shape and size, which affects how players control the scoop. Carrying more at once makes balancing harder, turning each trip into a choice between risk and safety.
Cats in each stage interfere with movement, wobbling, flying around the room and spinning. Clearing a stage returns the message "ya did it", while failing brings "ya dun goofed" and requires a retry.
The game's voice work comes from the developers and their pet cats, according to Automaton Media. The developers, Hans Andre Abila and Arvin Padua, are from the Philippines.
A portion of revenue is planned to be donated monthly to a different animal protection organization in the Philippines. A playtest is planned for the near future.
Built from litter-box duty
The developers keep six cats and clean the litter box four times a day. In October 2026 coverage, the project was described as inspired by the hardships and sense of achievement that come with caring for cats.
