Pratfall Heads to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 in Early 2027
Daedalic Entertainment will bring the co-op cave-exploration game to consoles with full cross-play support, following a strong PC debut.
Daedalic Entertainment announced that Pratfall will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 in early 2027, according to gamebiz.jp. The console versions will support full cross-play across all platforms.
Pratfall is a co-op action game in which players explore dangerous caves to find a lost, beloved dog. It features procedurally generated biomes that change with each playthrough, along with destructible terrain, interactive objects and a large supply of explosive items that support open-ended puzzle solving.
Tim Schröder said the overwhelmingly positive response from the PC community led to the decision to bring the game to consoles. Karsten Fiettelmann described Quad Head's title as a recent German indie success story.
Jonas Hygges said the game fits perfectly with a multiplatform strategy, adding that its accessible controls and physics-driven chaos should be well received on consoles.
PC debut preceded console plans
The PC version of Pratfall, developed by Quad Head, was released on Steam in April 2026 and has sold more than 600,000 copies.
