Proton-CachyOS, DWProton and GE-Proton roll out new builds

The three community Proton builds ship fixes for Arknights: Endfield, Loop Hero and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, with GE-Proton moving to DXVK v3.1.1-134.

Three community Proton builds were released: Proton-CachyOS 11.0-20261014, DWProton 11.0-15 and GE-Proton 11-10, each with its own change list, according to gamingonlinux.com.

Proton-CachyOS 11.0-20261014 is based on Proton Experimental 11.0-20261014, with Wine rebased on Bleeding Edge. It fixes Arknights: Endfield after its latest update and crashes in games such as Loop Hero under WOW64, and backports upstream Wine changes to fix Warcraft III v3. It also resolves two issues in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.

The build adds partial 32-bit PhysX support on AMD through ZLUDA, enabled with PROTON_ZLUDA=1 in the native-only package. The native Proton-CachyOS build currently does not work with Steam, though it still works with umu-launcher.

DWProton 11.0-15 updates Proton and its components to cachyos-11.0-20261014-slr and removes an outdated Protonfix for the NIKKE launcher.

GE-Proton 11-10 uses Wine Valve bleeding-edge 2026-10-16 and DXVK v3.1.1-134.
