LoreanXavier's P.T. PC Port Hits 1.0.1 With DLSS 4.5 and Ray Tracing
The fan-made P.T. PC Port rebuilds the demo's game logic in C++ with a custom Vulkan renderer and requires the user's own dumped PS4 copy.
The fan-made LoreanXavier's P.T. PC Port has reached version 1.0.1, according to wccftech.com. The release adds a set of modern rendering and gameplay features to the rebuilt demo.
The port reconstructs P.T.'s game logic in C++ and uses a custom Vulkan renderer that loads assets from the original PS4 game files. It requires the user's own dumped copy of P.T. and ships with no Konami game data.
On the visual side, version 1.0.1 supports NVIDIA DLSS 4.5, AMD FSR 3.1/4.1, Intel XeSS, DLAA and FSR Native AA. It also introduces ray-traced shadows, ray-traced ambient occlusion and ray-traced floor reflections.
Other additions include mod support, Game+, a Photo Mode and experimental OpenXR VR support. In testing on an Intel Core i7-12700H with an RTX 4060 Laptop GPU at 1080p using the DLSS Quality setting and Ultra preset, the port ran regularly over 100 FPS and reached 200+ FPS with Frame Generation.
P.T. first terrified PlayStation 4 owners more than twelve years ago as a playable teaser tied to Hideo Kojima's Silent Hills. Konami removed P.T. from the PlayStation Store in 2015.
