Queen's Domain first patch adds Grave Knife and screenshake toggle

The update also makes late-game puzzles less frustrating and fixes Steam Cloud saves that failed to restore after a crash.

Queen's Domain has received its first proper patch, developer Freshly Baked's update adds a missing throwing weapon, new options and a batch of bug fixes, according to Rock Paper Shotgun.

The headline addition is the Grave Knife, a throwing weapon that was missing from the game. It can be found in an open chest near the middle of the Tower of Knowledge. The patch also adds options to make some late-game puzzles less frustrating, along with a setting to disable screenshake.

The status effects guide now carries icons, and the secret door concealing the Pandora Blade counts towards the Concealed Passages challenge, with a hint added for finding it.

Bug fixes cover a soft lock caused by resting multiple times in a row and a spot where players could get stuck behind a statue at the queen's grave. Steam Cloud saves that failed to restore properly when switching devices after a crash have also been addressed.

Weapons that incorrectly counted towards the Extensive Armaments challenge were corrected, and Ring of Wind no longer counts towards Versatile Volley.

Sales context

Queen's Domain has sold over 100,000 copies, according to Freshly Baked, and Vertical Slice reported that the studio had already broken even.
