Retro Remake has teased a new FPGA-powered Super Nintendo console codenamed 'Codename SSNT/SuperFPGA', according to gamesradar.com.

Retro Remake has teased a new FPGA-powered Super Nintendo console codenamed 'Codename SSNT/SuperFPGA'. The company's founder, Taki Udon, posted a teaser tweet showing a close-up of what appears to be a SNES reset switch with the tagline 'It's time to run it back.'

Udon also stated 'Don't worry, we have all regions covered,' revealing a grey button inspired by the PAL Super Nintendo and Super Famicom. This suggests the console will support multiple regional designs.

Retro Remake previously created the SuperStation One, a PS1-inspired FPGA console. The company is founded by Taki Udon.

Analogue previously released the SuperNT, a modern FPGA SNES, which has been out of stock for some time.

Last week, Retro Remake announced a $25 SuperStation Memory Card featuring a built-in screen that performs Free McBoot tricks on the original PS1 and PS2, similar to the PSXMemcard Gen 2.
