Rockstar Details GTA 6 Protagonists Jason and Lucia
Rockstar narrative VP Rupert Humphries and writer Alexa D'Agostino discuss the motivations of GTA 6's two leads in a LOVE Magazine interview.
Rockstar Games senior vice president of narrative Rupert Humphries and GTA 6 writer Alexa D'Agostino discussed the characterization and motivations of protagonists Jason and Lucia in an interview with LOVE Magazine, according to gamerant.com.
Humphries described Lucia as someone who wants a better life and refuses to let obstacles stop her. D'Agostino said she drew inspiration from women she knew, including her immigrant mother, when writing the character.
On Jason, Humphries said the character grew up around criminals before joining the Army and later returned to the Leonida Keys, where he works for local drug runners. He added that Rockstar did not intend to make a broader statement about social class or failed social mobility through Jason's Army background.
