Rockstar Details GTA 6 Pedestrian Dialogue and In-Game Podcasts
In an interview with Love magazine, Rockstar developers described a dedicated pedestrian dialogue team and the series' first in-game podcasts.
Rockstar Games developers said in an interview with Love magazine that Grand Theft Auto 6 has a dedicated team of writers for pedestrian dialogue, along with advertising and comedy writers, according to gamesradar.com.
Rupert Humphries, Rockstar's senior vice president of narrative, said the pedestrian dialogue team is based in Los Angeles, with additional advertising and comedy writers working across New York, Los Angeles, and London.
Open world writing director James Horton said the studio "dreamed a lot bigger this time around" for Grand Theft Auto 6 and that there are "no shortcuts" in building its world. Horton added that every character the player meets is the main character in their own story, with no one treated as an extra.
Rockstar has also revealed the game's radio stations, including in-game podcasts that the studio described as a first for the Grand Theft Auto series.
