Saber Interactive's John Wick Game Confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC
Saber Interactive's untitled John Wick prequel is a AAA single-player third-person action game; Keanu Reeves provides Wick's likeness and voice.
Saber Interactive is developing an untitled John Wick game, and the project has now been confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The studio is working on it alongside Lionsgate, franchise director Chad Stahelski, and Keanu Reeves, according to screenrant.com.
The game is set years before the Impossible Task, when John was still an active assassin. Saber says its original narrative will expand the franchise's lore with both familiar and entirely new characters.
Reeves will provide Wick's likeness and voice. The project is described as a AAA, single-player, third-person action game built around gun-fu — combining firearms and close-quarters combat with cinematic camerawork, atmospheric environments, and driving sequences.
The game remains officially listed as TBA, with no confirmed release year or date. Saber chief business officer Steve Allison referenced John Wick while discussing the company's slate being assembled for 2028, but Saber clarified this was not an official release target.
Earlier John Wick Games and Release Expectations
In 2019, John Wick Hex was released as a tactical game. Early industry estimates placed a potential launch of Saber's John Wick game somewhere in 2027 or 2028, based largely on how early the project appeared to be when revealed.
