SLAM TANK demo launches on Steam with Japanese text support

Next Stage released a PC demo for its tank action game SLAM TANK on October 20, featuring an armed train boss and three tank types.

Next Stage released a demo version of its tank action game SLAM TANK for PC via Steam on October 20, according to automaton-media.com. The demo supports Japanese in-game text.

SLAM TANK is set in a world where AI has taken over all machines. The player's tank attacks by body slamming and swinging its turret rather than firing shells. The game is stage-based, with players fighting through machines to reach and defeat a boss.

Destroying machines adds to a running damage total against the AI that serves as the score, and an online leaderboard is included. Players can choose among three tank types: balanced, agile but fragile, and tough but hard to turn.

The demo features an armed train boss that fires missiles and charges. Stages include boost pads, large jumps and mid-air tank spin tricks. Tanks can be customized with decals and exterior parts.
