Snowberry Games announces Silk & Sorrow for Steam
The hand-drawn dark fantasy co-op adventure launches on Steam next February, with a demo set for December.
Snowberry Games announced Silk & Sorrow, a hand-drawn dark fantasy co-op adventure game coming to Steam, according to bloody-disgusting.com. The game will launch on Steam next February, with a demo arriving in December.
Snowberry Games is a two-person Belgian indie studio self-publishing the game. Every environment, creature and frame of animation in Silk & Sorrow is drawn by hand.
The story follows two children who descend into the Chrysalis, a world beneath ours where discarded things end up. The Chrysalis was tended by a giant glowworm called the Sun Queen, who is now dead.
The children find Glint, a small glowing grub that provides light and can only be in one place at a time, so one child carries the light while the other works in the dark.
Two years in development
Snowberry Games spent two years developing Silk & Sorrow before self-publishing it.
