Solo Leveling: Arise hits 70 million downloads as 2.5th anniversary update arrives

Netmarble's livestream detailed the 2.5th anniversary update, which raises Sung Jinwoo's level cap to 170 and adds the Requiem job change.

Netmarble announced during an online developer livestream that Solo Leveling: Arise has surpassed 70 million global cumulative downloads, and outlined the mobile game's 2.5th anniversary update, as reported by gamemeca.com.

The update adds new story content and raises Sung Jinwoo's maximum level from 160 to 170. It also introduces a new job change called Requiem and a four-hunter content mode called Deep Isolation Zone.

Another addition is Infinite Battlefield, a mode in which players try to defeat as many endlessly spawning bosses as possible within a time limit. A Statue system is also being added to allow further growth of Sung Jinwoo, successors and hunters.

Two new characters join the roster: Go Gunhee, Wall of Protection, a water-attribute buster hunter, and Velvet, Fanged Successor, a fire-attribute successor.

An in-game event will hand out hunter and exclusive weapon selection tickets to mark the download milestone. PD Jin Seong-geon of Netmarble Neo commented on the anniversary during the presentation.

Solo Leveling: Arise launched in Korea and globally in 2024.
