Lucky Wise Games unveils PSX-style WW2 shooter Steelblood: Allied Front
The Steam first-person shooter draws on Medal of Honor and Half-Life, with a campaign spanning Normandy, North Africa and Norway.
Lucky Wise Games has announced Steelblood: Allied Front, a first-person shooter for Steam, and released the game's first gameplay trailer, as reported by gamerant.com. No release date has been given.
The developer describes Steelblood as an old-school WW2 shooter inspired by Medal of Honor and Half-Life, built with low-poly, PSX-style visuals.
The game's story-driven single-player campaign follows a US agent operating behind enemy lines. Its missions span the Normandy landings, the deserts of North Africa and secret weapons facilities in Norway.
The trailer shows historically accurate weapons, including the M1 Garand, the MP 40 and the Walther P38.
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, one of the games the trailer points back to, was released in 2002. Early Medal of Honor titles leaned on sabotage-focused missions, partly as a workaround for PlayStation hardware limits, and the franchise turns 27 in November 2026; EA has not announced official plans to mark the anniversary.
