Stellaris: Willpower expansion launches November 23 with ideological victory
Paradox's new Stellaris expansion, co-developed with Abrakam Entertainment, adds absolute ethics and eight paragon leaders.
Paradox has announced Stellaris: Willpower, a new expansion co-developed with Abrakam Entertainment, set to launch on November 23, 2026. It arrives alongside the free Stellaris 4.6 update, Corona Borealis, according to PCGamesN.
The expansion's headline addition is an ambition called Force of Will, which lets players win through ideological conversion rather than conflict. Players earn and spend Willpower to unlock abilities and perks, among them Cultural Envoys — ships that can pass through closed borders and convert pops on a planet.
Willpower also introduces absolute ethics, which go beyond fanatic ethics, require 3 points and force the player to abandon a side ethic. It ships with 8 new paragon leaders tied to specific ethics, which can be drawn to an empire via Galactic Halls and Galactic Cathedrals.
The expansion is priced at $24.99 / £20.99 and is available for preorder, both on its own and in the Stellaris Season 10 bundle at $49.49 / £41.59.
