Street Fighter 2 Playable Inside a YouTube Video
YouTuber Atlas Arcade's playable video runs on desktop and mobile browsers, with Ryu fighting Ken on the Battle Harbor stage.
YouTuber Atlas Arcade has released a version of Street Fighter 2 that can be played inside a YouTube video, according to gamerant.com. The clip runs in desktop and mobile browsers and turns a short fight scene into a two-button game.
On desktop, players use the J and L keys to attack or dodge. On mobile, they tap the screen at the right moments instead. The video is built around a single bout between Ryu and Ken on the Battle Harbor stage.
The fight plays out to Ken's Theme and closes with a Hadouken finisher. Mobile viewers need to open the browser version of YouTube for the video to work correctly.
Atlas Arcade has built playable videos on YouTube before, with earlier projects based on Minecraft, Five Nights at Freddy's and Pokemon. The Street Fighter series itself debuted nearly 40 years ago, and Street Fighter 6 launched in 2023.
