Talaka demo update adds vertical aiming and AI Director

The roguelite action game's revised demo also gives Shango's Axe a timed critical attack; the full release is planned for early 2027.

The roguelite action game Talaka has received an updated demo version, according to 4gamer.net. The update adds new aiming and combat options, along with a system that adjusts enemy behaviour.

Players can now aim up and down with weapons such as bows and boomerangs. The axe weapon Shango's Axe also gains a critical attack: holding the button and releasing it at the right moment triggers the stronger hit.

The update introduces an "AI Director" that adjusts enemy attack timing to the player's skill level and reduces screen clutter during combat.

Talaka is scheduled for release in early 2027. The game does not currently support Japanese.
