Taskpop announces Shear It!, a sheep-shearing sim for PC

The first-person Steam game has players collect wool, spin yarn and upgrade from manual scissors to electric clippers.

Taskpop has announced Shear It!, a first-person simulation game about shearing sheep, for PC via Steam. The announcement was reported by gamespark.jp.

In Shear It!, players shear sheep in a peaceful pasture by clicking or holding a button, gather the wool in baskets, then spin it into yarn at a wool workshop to earn money. The money funds upgrades to tools such as scissors, capacity, collection ability and spinning wheels, and players can move from manual scissors to electric clippers.

The Steam store page hints at sheep that grow larger over time, as well as a giant sheep wrapped in wool. The announcement trailer shows both cute sheep and a sheep the size of a monster, along with what looks like a jetpack among the tools on the upgrade desk.

The game is planned for release on Steam with Japanese language support.
