The Witcher: Legacy tabletop RPG set for Summer 2027

Go On Board's cooperative game for 1-4 players is now open for pre-order, with nine editions priced from $109 to $480.

Go On Board has officially announced The Witcher: Legacy, a tabletop role-playing game set for a Summer 2027 launch. Pre-orders are open now, according to Screen Rant.

The game is designed for 1-4 players, with sessions running around 150 minutes. Its main campaign reportedly offers more than 48 hours of gameplay, and uncovering all of its secrets is said to take over 100 hours. It combines a non-linear cooperative campaign with an Endgame Mode sandbox, and ships alongside a free narration app.

Players take on the role of an iconic Witcher investigating a plot behind the sacking of the School of the Wolf. Nine editions will be offered, ranging from $109 to a $480 "I Want It All" edition.

The project began as a crowdfunding campaign on Gamefound, where it raised €12,738,502 from 32,577 backers.

The tabletop release arrives amid a busy period for the franchise. CD Projekt RED has said The Witcher 4 is in development with a target for a 2028 release, while a remastered version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is expected to launch on 29 September as a free update for existing owners.
