Toho reported that game-related operating revenue at TOHO animation reached 1.283 billion yen for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2027, up 57.9% from 813 million yen a year earlier, according to gamebiz.jp.
The company attributed the gain to contributions from existing titles, including Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade, which Toho operates jointly with Sumzap.
Toho entered the game business in 2021 with the launch of its label TOHO Games. As of August 2026, the game business office had 17 staff, divided into a planning group and a digital marketing group.
