Uta Macross Crowdfunding Tops 139 Million Yen, New Rewards Added

The Uta Macross revival project's crowdfunding campaign on CAMPFIRE has surpassed 139 million yen, with more than 4,200 backers supporting the game, 4gamer.net reported. The campaign reached the 135 million yen stretch goal, meaning the special Chou Jikuu art book (book version) will have more pages, with the aim of including all illustrations.

Two new reward courses covering five items in total were also added. The Chou Jikuu Scenario Book Set course includes a scenario book that aims to collect all text data of over 500,000 characters, including event scenarios from Uta Macross Smartphone De Culture that were not included in the main game. It also comes with a sleeve case that can hold the art book and 10 types of special bookmarks.

Long cushion set and the next goal

The Special Long Cushion Set course offers a 1-meter-long cushion and a set of 10 can badges featuring 10 divas. Neither additional reward includes a Steam key for the main game.

The next stretch goal stands at 150 million yen. If it is reached, development of multiple home console versions will begin, with those versions intended to be sold after the iOS, Android and PC (Steam) release.

The Uta Macross crowdfunding campaign runs until 23:59 on October 31, 2026. Uta Macross is a buy-to-play title rebuilt from the smartphone rhythm game Uta Macross Smartphone De Culture, which ended service in 2022, and is planned for release around spring 2027. The campaign has been running on CAMPFIRE since September 10, 2026.
