IElectric to delist Steam version of uVolley at end of 2026
The free volleyball game leaves Steam at the end of 2026, but players who add it to their library beforehand keep access, the publisher says.
IElectric announced on 18 October that the Steam version of uVolley will be delisted at the end of 2026. Players who add the game to their Steam library before that date will still be able to download and play it afterwards, according to Automaton Media.
uVolley is a free volleyball game in which players control a team of six and compete for points under standard volleyball rules. It supports solo play, two-player split-screen and local network multiplayer, as well as first-person play with VR devices. Modes include a trial, a quick match with 15 selectable countries including Japan, and a trophy tournament featuring 8 countries.
Developer Nick said the delisting is because regular updates can no longer be made. The game's in-game display does not support Japanese. Steam user reviews for uVolley currently stand at 52% positive from 76 reviews, a Mixed rating.
Release history and a remake in progress
uVolley was released for Microsoft Store and Xbox One in 2018 and arrived on Steam in 2020. The game received several major updates adding new teams and an easy mode, but Steam updates stopped after December 2022.
In December 2025, the developer replied to a review saying a new uVolley REMASTERED is in development in Unreal Engine 5.
