The Walking Dead: Aftermath adds Glenn Rhee as playable Survivor

Ares Interactive's Glenn's Target Challenge update lets players unlock Glenn Rhee, whose kit pairs shotgun Acid damage with throwing knives.

Ares Interactive has released Glenn's Target Challenge, a new update for the mobile game The Walking Dead: Aftermath that adds Glenn Rhee as a playable Combat Survivor, according to GameRant. The update lets players work toward unlocking Glenn for their lineup.

The developer also published a Survivor File for Glenn describing a playstyle built around shotgun coverage with Acid damage and throwing knife support. His signature mechanic, Stand and Deliver, increases his Attack Speed and Damage while he uses the Standing Still boost.

Glenn's listed core abilities are Dexterity, Living the Dream, Shattershot, Extra Pellets, and Throwing Knives Acid Cloud.

The addition follows recent updates that brought Carol and Maggie to the mobile title.

Glenn first appeared in The Walking Dead comic in 2003 and returned in Telltale's The Walking Dead game in 2012. The Walking Dead: Aftermath launched in July 2026.
