Warzone Season 1 launches November 6 with Hajin map and Switch 2 debut
Activision says Season 1 fully integrates Warzone with Modern Warfare 4, opening all 33 launch and Season 1 weapons to players.
Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 begins on November 6, arriving alongside the Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 update, according to gamerant.com. The update fully integrates Warzone with the Modern Warfare 4 experience, giving players access to all 33 Modern Warfare 4 launch and Season 1 weapons.
Season 1 adds player level resets, Daily and Calling Card Challenges, Apex Attachments, and Battle Pass and Black Cell progress across Multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone. Tactical Sprint will be available without a perk, and weapons are being rebalanced alongside improved visibility, readability and footstep audio.
Hajin, a compact Zodiac and returning maps
The headline addition is Hajin, a new large-scale map set across the Korean Peninsula with 13 points of interest and variable weather. Eliminated operators on Hajin are sent to one of two Gulags for a 1v1 fight to earn redeployment. For Warzone Resurgence, a new and more compact version of Zodiac with 10 points of interest will be available.
Verdansk returns later in Season 1 as an alternative Battle Royale experience, while Rebirth Island comes back for Resurgence players. New gadgets include Grabber Drones and a Zipline launcher, alongside new interactable objects, perks and modes.
The update also marks the first time Warzone is playable on the Nintendo Switch 2, with content matching other platforms. Activision separately apologized for incorrectly stating that weapon camos would be part of the Carry Forward program.
