Who's Next? opens North American mobile pre-registration ahead of November 9 free launch

Korean indie developer opened pre-registration on Google Play, offering 100 gold ingots to participants before the social deduction game's free mobile release on November 9, 2026.

The Korean indie developer behind the social deduction game Who's Next? has opened North American mobile pre-registration on Google Play ahead of a free launch on November 9, 2026, according to game.donga.com.

Participants who sign up receive 100 gold ingots, an in-game currency.

The game assigns players roles based on Korean folklore figures, including the gumiho, dokkaebi, jeoseung saja, agwi and gangcheori. The gumiho can charm a nearby player and kill them after staying close for a set time, while the jeoseung saja can check nearby players' identities using a life-and-death ledger.

The story premise centers on Yeomra, ruler of the Korean underworld, ordering souls to kill each other, with the last survivor granted reincarnation.

Who's Next? previously built word of mouth in Korea through streams and videos from channels such as 잠뜰 TV, 왈도쿤 and 탬탬버린.
