The Wolf Among Us Remastered launches with sequel save carryover

Telltale Games released the remaster on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with account-linked choices set to transfer into The Wolf Among Us 2 in 2027.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered launched on October 29, 2026, on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Telltale Games confirmed. The release brings the Fabletown story back to current platforms.

Telltale also confirmed that players who sign into a Telltale Account while playing the remaster will have their choices carried into The Wolf Among Us 2. Players who prefer not to replay the first game can instead select their past choices at the start of the sequel.

The Wolf Among Us 2 is planned for 2027. According to gamerant.com, the sequel was shown at Summer Game Fest 2026, where early details revealed new characters and a single full release estimated at 8 to 12 hours rather than an episodic format.

The original The Wolf Among Us launched in October 2013 and introduced Fabletown and detective Bigby Wolf. The remaster returns players to that story ahead of the sequel.
