The Wolf Among Us Remastered Launches October 29, 2026
Telltale Games says the remaster includes rebuilt character models, a toggleable Noir Mode and restored deleted scenes across all five episodes.
Telltale Games has confirmed that The Wolf Among Us Remastered will launch on October 29, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, according to gamerant.com.
The package contains all five episodes with enhanced visuals, including improved lighting, fine-tuned animations and upgraded environments. Characters were rebuilt as new high-resolution models instead of being upscaled, and the werewolf form of protagonist Bigby Wolf has been redesigned.
A Noir Mode lets players switch at any time between the standard look and a black-and-white presentation. The release also ships with behind-the-scenes content: developer commentary, concept art, interviews and playable restored deleted scenes.
The original The Wolf Among Us, set in the Fabletown community, was released in 2013. In June 2026, at Summer Game Fest, Telltale announced The Wolf Among Us 2 with a 2027 release window and unveiled a trailer; the studio had previously gone through layoffs in 2018 and 2023, and the sequel's development was hit by delays.
A Nintendo Switch version of the remaster was announced but has been delayed, with no confirmed date.
