Leaked WoW: Forever Survey Lists 11 Potential New Classes

An alleged leaked survey sent to select World of Warcraft players through Battle.net has listed 11 potential new classes for World of Warcraft: Forever. The survey, which circulated online, included details such as lore, weapon types, armor class, resources, roles, and signature abilities for each potential class.

The listed classes are Bard, Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Illusionist, Monk, Necromancer, Metalborn/Runemaster/Runeknight, San'layn, Tinker, Warden, and Witch. GameSpot reported on the survey's contents.

Blizzard has added four new classes to modern World of Warcraft over the last two decades: Death Knight, Monk, Demon Hunter, and Evoker. The Necromancer was originally planned for vanilla WoW but was scrapped, and the Runemaster's rune system was originally for an early version of the class that was later scrapped, with its core mechanic repurposed.

World of Warcraft: Forever is a recently revealed third version of the MMO that will introduce new quests, zones, and content to the vanilla version of WoW. It will include over 1,000 new quests, four new zones, and an account-wide Legacy perk system. The beta is currently live until October 21, and the full launch is set for November 4.

Blizzard has conducted similar surveys in the past, and their contents have often leaked online.
