Wuwa Tappo, Wuthering Waves desktop mascot app, launches free on Windows

Wuwa Tappo, a desktop mascot app themed on Wuthering Waves, was released for Windows on 26 October 2026, according to 4gamer.net. The app is free permanently and is available for download.

It is officially licensed from Irox Games, the developer of the desktop mascot Bongo Cat. In the app, characters tap on a desk in response to keyboard and mouse input.

The app includes a collection system with more than 200 characters, more than 100 accessories and more than 500 emotes, and it supports multiplayer for up to 20 players. Boxes are generated in a slot every 30 cumulative minutes of active time and cost 1000 accumulated inputs to claim; at most two unclaimed boxes can be stored, and the timer stops while both slots are full.

Item rarity has four tiers with drop rates of Common 90%, Uncommon 9.5%, Rare 0.49% and Epic 0.01%. The first box opened guarantees one character and the second guarantees one accessory, and a character's exclusive emotes are added to the box drop pool only after that character is obtained.

A first-launch set gives Male Rover (Classic), Female Rover (Classic), the Ab accessory and emotes. Entering the redemption code WuwaTappo under Settings > Redemption Code grants Yangyang (Classic); the code can be used once per player, has no expiry date, and items are sent to the Bag.

Minimum specs are Windows 10/11 64-bit, a 6th-gen Core i5 or equivalent Ryzen 5, 4GB memory and 200MB storage. Recommended specs are Windows 10/11 64-bit, a 10th-gen Core i5 or equivalent Ryzen 5, 8GB memory and 1GB storage.
