'100일의 거짓말' Episode 6 Hits Ratings High of 10.7%

Episode 6 of the tvN drama '100일의 거짓말' drew its highest ratings yet, recording an average of 9.9% and a peak of 10.7% on Nielsen Korea's paid-platform metropolitan-area measure, according to joynews24.com. The episode aired on October 25.

Episode 7 is scheduled to air on October 31 at 9:10 PM.

The drama's cast prepared extensively for its Japanese-language dialogue. Kim Yoo-jung, who plays the lead role, spent about five months studying Japanese before filming, taking three types of classes daily. Jin Sun-kyu stayed in Kyoto for roughly two months, studying Japanese conversation in the morning and drama lines in the afternoon, alongside two weekly video lessons.

Park Jin-young, who plays the interpreter Sato Hideo, also known as Kim Tae-ung, began practicing his Japanese script in February of this year and continued until all filming ended. Lee Moo-saeng, who plays Yoo Phillip, memorized nearly all his Japanese lines before his first lesson last winter.

Kim Hyun-joo, who plays Yoo So-ran, performs Chinese lines in the role. According to the report, all actors began the first shoot after memorizing the Japanese dialogue for all 12 episodes. The drama is directed by Yoo In-sik.
