The Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) has announced details of its 2026 edition, which opens October 10 and runs through October 13 at BEXCO in Busan. This year 339 institutions and companies from 32 countries and territories are exhibiting at the market, according to Deadline.

Thailand is the first ever Country of Honor at ACFM, while Japan is the Focus Country in the Producers Hub. The market is also hosting the second edition of DocSquare and an "Impact Asia Day."

Kling AI is hosting a panel on the second day of the market titled "New Cinematic Possibilities: Reimagining Filmmaking."

The Asian Project Market has selected 30 projects from 20 countries this year, and the Busan Story Market is presenting 25 pieces of IP from Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Indonesia.

ACFM is taking place during the Busan International Film Festival, which runs October 6-15. In October 2025, ACFM hosted 289 exhibitors from 31 countries, up from 264 in 2023 and 275 in 2024, and its InnoAsia program launched three new programs that are now moving into their second edition.
