New Ali G: Who Iz I? Trailer Has Borat Warning Viewers Off
Amazon MGM Studios' latest trailer for the Sacha Baron Cohen film also features his Who is America? characters Dr. Nira Cain-N'Degeocello and Erran Morad.
Amazon MGM Studios has released a new trailer for Ali G: Who Iz I?, and it comes with an unusual pitch: Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat appears in the trailer to warn viewers not to watch the film.
The trailer also features two of Cohen's characters from Who is America? — Dr. Nira Cain-N'Degeocello and Erran Morad — who appear in the film in their own segments.
Ali G: Who Iz I? is slated to hit theaters on October 23. Cohen directed the film, and Morgana Robinson stars.
According to joblo.com, the project follows a surprise trailer released about a month ago that brought back Cohen's character Ali G. The film was kept under wraps until Cohen was recently spotted as Ali G at Wimbledon and a news leak revealed he was making a new film, per Deadline.
Cohen's career exploded with Borat, a character from his comedy series Da Ali G Show. He returned to his roots with Brüno and revisited Borat with a sequel in 2020.
