Seyfried Cameos in Fielder and Oppenheim's You Can See Everything

Variety details the mid-film twist in which Amanda Seyfried reenacts moments from Elizabeth Holmes's life alongside Nathan Fielder.

Amanda Seyfried appears in Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim's documentary You Can See Everything, which is now playing in theaters, according to Variety. Her appearance comes as a meta twist roughly halfway through the film, after Elizabeth Holmes is incarcerated.

Seyfried reenacts real-life moments with Fielder that the filmmakers could not capture on camera. Christopher Abbott appears alongside her as Billy Evans, Holmes's boyfriend, in the reenactments.

The pair recreate a private negotiation between Fielder, Oppenheim and the A24 team that took place before filming began, in which A24 agrees to pay Holmes and Evans for participating in the documentary. At the end of the film it is revealed that Evans dropped his financial request.

The documentary chronicles the 34 days ahead of Holmes's 11-year prison sentence. In 2022, Seyfried played Holmes in Hulu's series The Dropout and won an Emmy for the role.
