The project is slated for 2027 as part of Lifetime's 'Ripped from the Headlines' slate, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It is based on a true story about Heather Elvis, a 20-year-old woman who disappears after a romance with a married man.
Peter O'Brien wrote the script. Gaylyn Fraiche, Fernando Szew, Hannah Pillemer, Larry Grimaldi and Julianna Hays serve as executive producers. Fox Entertainment Studios is among the entities involved.
Harmon's return to the director's chair
Harmon previously directed the 100th episode of 'Rizzoli & Isles,' the TNT series that aired 105 episodes from 2010 to 2016 and starred Harmon as Rizzoli opposite Sasha Alexander as Isles.
