The renewal follows a strong debut for the series, which launched on Apple TV in April 2025 and drew rave reviews both in France and internationally. Last week, Carême was nominated for the drama prize at the international Emmys.
Based on Ian Kelly's book Carême: Cooking for Kings: The Life of the First Celebrity Chef, the series is created by Kelly and Davide Serino. It is executive produced by Vanessa van Zuylen of VVZ Production and Dominique Farrugia of Shine Fiction for Apple TV.
