The UK's Association of True Crime Producers has opened its membership to producers outside Britain for the first time, admitting seven international companies, according to Deadline. The three U.S. producers joining are Gennie Studios, My Entertainment and Texas Crew Productions.
Four further companies have also joined from outside Britain: Perpetual (Australia), Southern Exposure (South Africa), Our Story (New Zealand) and Serial Maven Studios (Canada).
The ATCP is chaired by Kate Beal, boss of Woodcut Media.

The association was founded three years ago and focuses on developing professional standards in true crime production.
