4K SteelBook of Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender Opens for Pre-Order at $45.99
Amazon lists the 4K UHD SteelBook for February 9, 2027, after DVD and Blu-ray editions arrived on November 3, 2026.
Pre-orders have opened for the 4K UHD SteelBook edition of Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender. The edition is priced at $45.99 USD on Amazon and carries a release date of February 9, 2027.
The DVD and Blu-ray editions of the film arrived earlier, on November 3, 2026.
Promotional materials for the home media release have reportedly credited M. Night Shyamalan as director instead of Lauren Montgomery, who directed the animated film. The home release synopsis reportedly reused the synopsis of the 2010 live-action adaptation The Last Airbender, and the listed cast members were reportedly affected by the same error.
The film was released on Paramount+ months before the home media pre-orders opened. It was originally supposed to be released in theaters.
Set between the original series and The Legend of Korra, the film follows a grown-up Team Avatar seeking an ancient staff that belonged to Avatar Sonam, sought by outlaws called the Denied. It holds a 90% critics' score and a 99% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
