Banijay Entertainment names senior team after All3Media merger
Fred Balmary, Nicolas Chazarain and Thomas Gousset are among the executives confirmed in the post-merger leadership line-up reporting to CEO Marco Bassetti.
Banijay Entertainment has confirmed the senior leadership team below the CEO level following its merger with All3Media, according to Deadline. All of the newly named executives report to CEO Marco Bassetti.
Fred Balmary is Chief Business Officer and Nicolas Chazarain is Chief Legal Officer. Thomas Gousset takes the Chief Finance Officer role, while Lucas Green is Chief Content Officer, Operations, and James Townley is Chief Content Officer, Development. Kate Humphreys is Chief Communications Officer and Anne Van Sprang is Chief Human Resources Officer.
Jane Turton, Fred Balmary, Nicolas Chazarain, Thomas Gousset, Anne Van Sprang and Cathy Payne are also joining the Banijay executive team. Cathy Payne is CEO of Banijay Rights, the group's distribution arm.
The structure follows the combination of RedBird IMI, owner of All3Media, and Banijay Group into Banijay Entertainment, an $8 billion company. Jeff Zucker was installed as Chairman, Marco Bassetti as CEO and Jane Turton as Deputy CEO.
Personnel changes have followed the merger, including on the distribution side. Sara Geater, former All3 group COO, exited after the combination. Banijay also presented its plans to the international market at MIPCOM Cannes, with Zucker and Bassetti on stage.
