Banijay Names Five Lieutenants in Sales Restructure
Banijay Entertainment has unveiled the structure of its sales team under chief Cathy Payne, with five key lieutenants named.
Banijay Entertainment has officially unveiled the structure of its sales team under chief Cathy Payne, naming five lieutenants who will lead the unit.
Matt Creasey, Stephen Driscoll, Rachel Job, Shaun Keeble and Andy Dickens make up Payne's senior team, the company said. Banijay also revealed how the rest of its sales operation will be divided.
One notable absence from the list is All3Media International's EVP Formats Nick Smith, who has taken voluntary redundancy.
The structure follows the merger that brought All3Media into the Banijay fold, giving the group a catalogue of more than 250,000 hours of content. Banijay has been overseeing a consultancy process for staff in recent weeks.
Banijay has said it will prioritize eliminating duplication in distribution and sales as it seeks 50 million euros, or $56.8 million, in synergies within 12 months of the deal closing. All3Media International CEO Louise Pedersen exited soon after the deal was revealed, with Payne taking on the combined sales unit.
Deadline reported on Monday that Job would take a key content role, with long-serving sales executives including Simon Cox, Claire Jago, Maartje Horchner and Chris Stewart exiting.
