BayView Acquires 'Stolen Kingdom' Rights, Plans Mipcom Pitch

BayView Entertainment has picked up international rights to Joshua Bailey's documentary about stolen Disney World props and will present it at Mipcom.

BayView Entertainment has acquired the international rights to Stolen Kingdom, Joshua Bailey's documentary about the black market for stolen props at Walt Disney World, according to Deadline. The company will present the film to international broadcasters and streamers at Mipcom.

Bailey directed Stolen Kingdom and wrote it with Matthew Serrano. Fugazi drummer Brendan Canty composed the original score. Antenna Releasing is handling North American distribution.

The documentary centers on the 2018 heist of the animatronic "Buzzy" from Epcot, valued at nearly half a million dollars.

Festival Run and Theatrical Release

Stolen Kingdom premiered theatrically six months ago, following a festival run that included Big Sky, Slamdance, IFF Boston and the Florida Film Festival.
