Collider Debuts Sneak Peek Clip From Horror Film Breeder

The clip shows Dot-Marie Jones as Patti leading a therapy-like session with her adoptive daughters ahead of the film's October 28, 2026 release.

Collider has exclusively released a sneak peek clip from the horror thriller Breeder, ahead of the film's scheduled release on October 28, 2026.

The clip shows Patti, played by Dot-Marie Jones, leading a group therapy-style session with her adoptive daughters in a room that resembles a stable. Patti pushes Yara, played by Lillian Doucet-Roche, to scream at her absent mother before comforting her.

Breeder is written and directed by Alex Goyette, creator of the JouleThief YouTube channel. Daniel Doheny plays Russell, a broke college student who takes work at Patti's remote ranch. The plot follows Patti as she moves from breeding poodles to breeding humans.

YouTube creators move into theatrical horror

The film is Goyette's second feature. In 2026, YouTube creators Mark Fischbach, known as Markiplier, Kane Parsons and Curry Barker launched theatrical filmmaking careers with horror releases. Over the past few years, Danny and Michael Philippou directed the horror hits Talk to Me and Bring Her Back.
