Casey Bloys Signs Multi-Year Extension as Skydance DTC Content Chief
Bloys will oversee content for both HBO Max and Paramount+ after his new multi-year deal.
Casey Bloys has signed a multi-year extension to his current contract as Co-Chair and Chief Content Officer of Skydance DTC, according to Deadline. The deal keeps him in charge of content for both HBO Max and Paramount+.
Bloys is expected to evaluate Cindy Holland's programming team at Paramount+ before making any personnel decisions. He is bringing several HBO executives with him: Francesca Orsi, Amy Gravitt, Sarah Aubrey and Jeff Cusson.
His current contract runs through the end of 2027. David Ellison chose Bloys over Paramount's DTC Chair Cindy Holland while assembling the top executive suite of the combined company after the WBD merger.

In the most recent Emmy season, HBO and HBO Max won 21 awards out of 122 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series for The Pitt and Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series for DTF St. Louis. Orsi, Gravitt and Cusson have all been at HBO for more than 20 years.
