The departure comes as Paramount pursues a pending acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO Max Content, is now the likely streaming head of the combined Paramount-WBD, according to Deadline.
Holland was recruited by David Ellison as an advisor in January 2025 to help draft the post-Paramount merger streaming strategy. She took the Chair of Direct-To-Consumer role in August 2025, overseeing Paramount+ and Pluto TV.
Under her leadership, Paramount+ reached an all-time subscriber high and delivered the best retention in its history. The service greenlit more than 40 new and returning series, including Landman and Dutton Ranch, and secured landmark agreements with UFC and Zuffa Boxing while expanding WNBA and UEFA Champions League rights. Pluto TV underwent its biggest product transformation in a decade.
Holland previously drove Netflix's initial move into original programming with series such as House of Cards and The Crown.
