Curry Barker's new horror short film Mama Bear debuted online this week on his YouTube channel "that's a bad idea," according to firstshowing.net. The short runs under five minutes and was created and directed by Barker, and was made in collaboration with Windows, which sponsored it.
Jon Lee Richardson stars as Floyd, with Katie Sarife, Ericka Kreuz and Joshua Snyder also in the cast. Jenna Lonergan produced the film, while Brian Hoff, Laura Lucchetti and Evelina Trapani served as executive producers.
The short was made by Hoff Studios, Poster Child, Droga5 and Microsoft, with cinematography by Riley Barker and production design by Vivian Gray.
