Dhar Mann Unveils Creator City Campus and New Samsung Series
Dhar Mann Studios' four-acre Los Angeles campus will open during Super Bowl week with 175 branded sets, Mann said at MIPCOM.
Dhar Mann presented the vision for Creator City, Dhar Mann Studios' upcoming four-acre Los Angeles campus, at MIPCOM's first pre-opening headline session, according to deadline.com.
Mann said the campus will have multiple sound stages and 175 sets able to house 15 productions concurrently. He said every set will be branded, unlike the unbranded sets at the current studio.
Creator City will hold its grand opening during Super Bowl week, Mann said. He did not give a date.
Dhar Mann Studios is also expanding its relationship with Samsung with a new show called Unlikely Families, following the earlier Samsung scripted series Unlikely Romances. Mann said Unlikely Families will come out in the next couple of months.
Separately, Mann said the studio will launch one new series on its YouTube channel every month starting in December, and that it has struck deals with Disney and Fox.
