Walt Disney Animation Studios showed more than 30 minutes of footage from its upcoming animated feature Hexed at Italy's View Conference in Turin, according to cartoonbrew.com. The presentation was led by producer Yvett Merino and included extended sequences and early animation tests.

Billie Doe is the main character, voiced by Hailee Steinfeld, while Rashida Jones voices her mother, Alice. Animator Tyler Pacana worked on a hand-drawn prologue, and Lorelay Bové is the production designer. The presentation also touched on Hexe, a hidden magical realm in the film.
Merino said Hexed's heroine is unique compared to other Disney heroines she has worked on during her career at the studio. She has spent three decades at Disney, including work on Encanto, Moana and Zootopia, and Bové was also production designer on Encanto.
