Disrupt Entertainment Takes North American Rights to 'Atoman'

Disrupt Entertainment will release 'Atoman' on at least 100 screens in early 2027 through AMC Theatres and other exhibitors, with new English-language dubs.

Disrupt Entertainment has acquired all North American distribution rights to "Atoman" and plans a theatrical rollout of at least 100 screens in early 2027, Deadline reported on November 3, 2026. The release will go through AMC Theatres and other exhibitors.

As part of the North American push, Disrupt Entertainment is producing new English-language dubs, with human actors providing the voices rather than synthetic ones.

The deal was brokered by Ben Yennie, founding head of Disrupt Entertainment, and Alan Green of OneTwoThree Media. OneTwoThree Media will present the film at the AFM later in November 2026.

"Atoman" is directed and produced by Anouar Moatassim. The cast includes Lartiste (Youssef Akdim) as Hakim, Samy Naceri, Sarah Perles and Doudou Masto. Aicha Kraus produces under Casablanca Pictures.

The film world premiered at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival in 2025 and later had a limited theatrical release in France, where it spent two weeks in Amazon France's Top 5. Van created the soundtrack and original score, with tracks from Soprano and Mennel; Benny Adam's song "Mok Ya Mok" features in the film. In 2025, Yennie and Bruce Nash of TheNumbers.com coordinated completion funding.
