SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Doctor X: The Age of the White Mafia' premieres on the 9th at 9:50 PM, according to joynews24.com.

Kim Ji-won stars as Gye Su-jeong, the genius surgeon known as Doctor X. The drama is a medical noir in which Gye Su-jeong uses her surgical skills to break down a massive absurdity.

Lee Jung-rim directed the series, and rookie writer Pyeon Seong-geun wrote it. The cast also includes Lee Jung-eun, Son Hyun-joo, Kim Woo-seok, Lee Jin-hee, Kim Young-min, Lee Seong-wook, Kwon Seung-woo, Heo Jun-seok and Choi Deok-moon.

Kim Ji-won has previously appeared in dramas including 'Descendants of the Sun', 'Fight for My Way', 'Lovestruck in the City', 'My Liberation Notes' and 'Queen of Tears'. Lee Jung-rim's earlier directing credits include 'VIP' and 'Revenant'.
