Duffield Says Siren Head Film Work Resumes in Months
Brian Duffield says he and co-writer Zach Cregger will pick up the Siren Head film once their schedules settle, and Warner Bros. looks different than when it was set up.
Brian Duffield has given a short update on the Siren Head film, saying he and co-writer Zach Cregger have not been able to focus on the project because of post-production and press commitments. Duffield's comments were reported by joblo.com.
Duffield said he does not yet know whether Siren Head will be his next movie. He expects to meet up with Cregger in a couple of months to continue working on it. The two are co-writing the screenplay, with Duffield directing.
He also addressed the state of the project, saying everything at Warner Bros. is very different from when it was set up there a few months ago. A merger involving Paramount has been connected to the studio.
Duffield described Siren Head as a modern form of American folklore and said the film is being taken in a direction that will surprise people. He added that Trevor Henderson, who created the character, has been excited about their ideas and has contributed some of his own. Henderson is involved as an executive producer.
